EFIMED’s newsletter highlights collaboration between ForestPaths, ForestNavigator and PathFinder

6 June 2025

The end of May saw the publication of the most recent newsletter by the Mediterranean Facility of the European Forest Institute (EFIMED). As with previous issues, it highlights a variety of notable developments from across forestry initiatives and research efforts in Europe. In this context, EFIMED shared news of the ongoing synergy between ForestPaths and its sister projects ForestNavigator and PathFinder.

The spotlight was specifically afforded to the new infographic that the trio collaboratively created and released earlier this year via a dedicated press release. This output succinctly showcases how the projects complementarily pursue robust, data-driven policy pathways for Europe’s forest sector. In that sense, they work towards optimising the contributions of this critical biome to climate neutrality, biodiversity conservation and the bioeconomy.

Joint outreach via interactive formats is a key aspect of this partnership as the projects engage with the numerous stakeholder groups they have in common. This is showcased by the ForestTalks webinar series, which returned for its second edition in March 2025. Interested parties can follow the future evolution of this cooperative venture via their shared Linktree hub and their respective project websites.
